About Supervision
Supervision for Texas LMFT- Associates is required weekly while working towards full licensure and completion of the 3,000 clinical hours. Lauren is a an LMFT Board Approved Supervisor with the State of Texas and an AAMFT Approved Supervisor. Lauren's supervision and clinical work are grounded in post modern therapeutic approaches, especially solution focused and strengths based, as well as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).
Expectations of Supervision
Supervisees are expected to attend weekly supervision on time, and provide the required paperwork prior to the session time. Supervisees are required to hold professional liability insurance. Supervisee must complete a supervision contract describing how frequently we will meet, the responsibilities of both supervisor and supervisee, goals for supervision, evaluation procedures, documentation, dispute resolution, risk management, and termination.
**Failure to cancel or reschedule supervision at least 24 hours prior to the appointment will result in the supervisee paying the full fee**
