Dr. Lauren Titsworth is a tried-and-true Texan, but may claim some Canadian roots to justify her love of hockey. She holds a Doctorate in Family Therapy, a Master’s of Science in Family Therapy, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. She is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist Supervisor (LMFT-S), an AAMFT Approved Supervisor Candidate, and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) in the State of Texas. Lauren’s research interests include the experience of families after a suicide loss and substance use disorder. Lauren is a systemic family therapist who enjoys watching change occur in the family system, but can also work with individuals from a systemic perspective. Lauren has been working in the fields of substance use, suicide prevention, suicide loss, and juvenile justice for over 10 years. In her free time she enjoys playing ice hockey, photography, graphic design, and playing guitar.
