Dr. Lauren Titsworth is a tried-and-true Texan, but may claim some Canadian roots to justify her love of hockey. She holds a Doctorate in Family Therapy, a Master’s of Science in Family Therapy, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. She is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist Supervisor (LMFT-S) in Texas, a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) in Colorado, an AAMFT Approved Supervisor Candidate, and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) in Texas. Lauren is also a Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Practitioner trained by Texas Christian University's Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development. Lauren’s research interests include the experience of families after a suicide loss and substance use disorder. Lauren is a systemic family therapist who enjoys watching change occur in the family system, but can also work with individuals from a systemic perspective. Lauren has been working in the fields of substance use, suicide prevention, suicide loss, and juvenile justice for over 13 years. In her free time she enjoys playing ice hockey, photography, graphic design, and playing guitar.
